Bourdon Barometer

Scarce-sized 10-inch Bourbon-type aneroid barometer. Conventional Bourdon movement driven from a semi-circular ovoid section pressure sensing cell acting on a ‘teardrop’ rack and pinion, the backplate struck with the Jules Richard “JR” logogram, “Brevete,” and serial no. 30904. All contained within a brass scalloped case with suspension ring and calibration port to the center. The beam chassis is signed with the intertwined Jules Richard “JR” logogram with a serial number of 30904.
