DESCO US Navy MarkV Helium Helmet

An original 4-light, 12-bolt USN Helium Diving Helmet manufactured by Diving Equipment and Supply in March 1970. The gas-version Mark V dramatically expanded operational depth, allowing divers to descend far beyond the limits of the standard air models. Long regarded as one of the most iconic and sought-after diving helmets, the Mark V is especially prized in its Helium configuration, which is considerably rarer and weighs approximately 103 pounds.

This example remains in excellent condition and was polished and lacquered at some point in its past.
