Details

Andréus Vogler, portable Equatorial Sundial in the original box. An interesting and attractive variant of the standard Augsburg dial made by Vogler. He favored a lyre-shaped one over the more common round chapter ring. On the back of the dial plate, a short table of latitudes is provided giving details for Augsburg, Paris, Vienna, Lisbon, and Rome. Also included is an accompanying printed table of latitudes.

1766 to 1790s.
