French Copernican Armillary Sphere

An exceptionally handsome French heliocentric armillary sphere dating to circa 1900, illustrating Nicolaus Copernicus’s model of the solar system. It features detailed zodiac and colure rings, rotating planetary orbits, and a separate brass Earth assembly mounted on a turned, ebonized wood base.
The armillary is in excellent condition, with only light overall toning and wear.
