A rare microscopic slide featuring an artistic arrangement of over 100 diatoms by J.D. Möller, complete with its original folding case. Johann Dietrich Möller (1844–1907) was renowned for his skill in meticulously organizing diatoms into elaborate patterns on microscope slides. While he made a living selling these creations, he also deeply valued scientific recognition and sought to have his work published and acknowledged within the academic community.
