Reverse Glass Painted `Optometrist Trade Sign

An early American reverse glass-painted Optometrist trade sign for C.R. McIntyre. The sign retains its original case and hand-painted glass panels on both sides. Designed with versatility in mind, it can be displayed either horizontally or vertically—the glass retaining ring can be removed, allowing the domed glass to be repositioned. A truly exceptional early example, showing light paint loss consistent with over a century of age and use.
