Shadowbox Model of a Four Masted Barque

A vintage shadowbox model of a 4-masted barque at sea. The model maker's name is unknown.

It could be the name painted on the ship's bow, Delkouch, for which we can't find a match for a vessel that existed by that name. The case consists of a handcrafted wooden box, original wavy crown glass with bubbles and warps. The ship's masts and hull are constructed of wood, with the sea appearing to be painted cotton.

Dimensions 19 1/2" x 12 1/2" x 4" deep.
